The BNS is pleased to announce the official launch of its new website. This is an important milestone for us, and will contribute, along with the 50th anniversary, to making 2020 a memorable year for the BNS! This modern website will offer our members new features such as the possibility for each member to create an account and easily manage their personal data, in full compliance with GDPR requirements.
In 1970, a small branch of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) was created in Belgium. Its original vocation was to offer a science-based platform for those contributing to the development of nuclear-related activities. The European Nuclear Society (ENS) was born a few years later, in 1975, in Paris. Soon after, in 1980, in a spirit of close contact and European integration, the Belgian Nuclear Society (BNS) was created.
Due to the current exceptional circumstances around the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to organize the upcoming Evening Lectures on digital platforms.
Nuclear for Climate (N4C) is a global initiative. It brings together scientists and nuclear professionals, as well as all those who believe that to fight climate change, we must act now, by mobilizing all decarbonated energies, including nuclear power.
