For the first time, nuclear fission will be at the agenda of the European Sustainability week (Homepage – European Commission (europa.eu)).

 

One of our members (Marc Deffrennes) will be present as a panelist standing for WeCARE (the panel is entitled « Role of Nuclear Energy for Sustainability and Local Development »). He will share this panel with people from Fortum, ITRE (Romania), GMF (for local communities) and the European Environmental Bureau.  The panel will be moderated by the Head Of Unit ENER D1 Nuclear Policy.

 

It will take place on the 12th of June, from 16h30 to 18h00 in the Manshold Room of Charlemagne Building (close to Berlaymont and Rue de la Loi).
