Exhibition from 19 February 2021 to 25 avril 2021 at the botanique, Brussels.

Cécile Massart is a Belgian artist who uses different mediums: drawing, engraving, installation, photography, video, artist’s book. In 1994, the question of identifying radioactive waste storage sites in the landscape became his main subject of work. It intends to make those responsible for waste management agencies aware of the visibility of these places. Its objective is to inscribe this unique archaeological stratum of the 21st century in the landscape, thus calling for the responsibility of everyone. What kind of energy policy do we want for the future? What heritage do we want to pass on?
