On the medical application of nuclear (besides radioisotopes)

In this evening lecture, we are aiming to present how the nuclear sector contributes to medical applications. It certainly does so thanks to the production of radioisotopes (which has been the topic of recent EVL’s), but how does it contribute otherwise ?
