On the production of Low Enriched Uranium (LEU) fuels at CERCA

About the lecture

CERCA, division of Framatome, is working in the field of research reactors fuel manufacturing and irradiation targets manufacturing. CERCA activities include fabrication of uranium-based medical-use targets. Framatome proposes a comprehensive solution for the supply of activation targets for irradiation reactors.

This evening lecture aims at giving an overview on CERCA business , their customers and development. It will also discuss about the leading edge research and industrialisation CERCA is doing on research reactor metallic fuel and ongoing conversion projects (HEU to LEU fuel).
