ABOUT THE HACKATHON

The BNS-YG Hackathon is a new initiative organized by the Young Generation network of the Belgian Nuclear Society (BNS). This event aims to bring together students and young professionals to collaboratively tackle challenges related to nuclear science and its applications.

Participants will work in teams to develop innovative solutions within a limited timeframe, encouraging creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical problem-solving. The event will also include a networking moment, offering participants and sponsors a valuable opportunity to connect.

HACKATHON OVERVIEW

	Teams & Challenge Teams will be formed during the event. The challenge will be revealed on the day.
	Development Phase Teams will compete intensively within a limited timeframe to develop innovative solutions.
	Final Presentation Teams present their solutions to a jury of experts who will evaluate creativity, feasibility and impact.
	Outcome The winning team will join BNS YG I4N 2027 and represent our community in future innovation initiatives.
	Networking A networking session will be organized during the event, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with peers and professionals.
