Emmanuel GirasaKey Expert at ENGIE
After a master degree in nuclear chemistry engineering achieved in 1999 at the Higher Industrial Institute of Brussels (Institut Supérieur Industriel de Bruxelles – ISIB), Emmanuel started his career as a chemistry specialist at the Belgian competence centre in electrical power technology (Laborelec), where he acquired expertise in water treatment for conventional and nuclear power plants.
In 2009, Emmanuel Joined GDF SUEZ Nucléaire France as project engineer for the project of construction of an EPR in France.
In 2013, he joined the ENGIE Nuclear Development Department as nuclear technology development manager. He worked on the AP1000 project in Moorside (UK) and on the ATMEA project in Sinop (Turkey).
Currently, he is heading Technical Support and Innovation at ENGIE Nuclear Segment Department, leading R&D and innovative activities in the field of current and future nuclear technologies.
In 2019, Emmanuel was nominated Key Expert at ENGIE.
