  Deputy Program Manager of Tihange 1 NPP at Engie Electrabel

  Mr. Philippe D’Haeyer works for Engie since December 1991. He started his career on Tihange 2 NPP in the Operations Department, where he took different positions in outage coordination and maintenance. Finally in October 2010, he joined the common LTO project. During the study phase, he was in charge of the ageing team of both Tihange 1 NPP and Doel 1/2 NPP. Since August 2012, he is the Deputy Program Manager of the Tihange 1 NPP. He has hosted the 3 IAEA SALTO reviews on Tihange 1 NPP and has performed workshops and missions for the IAEA in Sweden, Finland and Argentina. Philippe will present the current status of the LTO Program, the main milestones, the key success factors and the challenges still ahead for Tihange 1.

  Deputy Program Manager for LTO project at Engie Electrabel

  Mr. Raf Verheyden has worked for 21 years for Engie, mainly in the nuclear field. Since the end of 2015 he has the position of Deputy Program Manager for the LTO project. Raf will present the long term operations program for Doel 1 and 2, focusing on the particular context for these units, the schedule of activities and the organizational approach and challenges to successfully result in a safe and reliable life time extension to 50 years of production.
